Pani puri is a popular street food of India, where crisp fried dough balls (puri) are stuffed with potatoes, sprouts, spicy tangy water, or sweet chutney. 

     
One of the most popular Indian street foods – Pani Puri is a fried crispy puri filled with lip-smacking potato masala and loaded with flavorful water! 


Whether you are an adult or a child, you will never get tired of eating this. It is seriously addictive!


I must say it’s easier to get a packet of readymade puris than to make them. It’s does take an effort to make these pooris. So prepare them, when you are free from any work.


Generally, the water or pani is sour, tangy as well as spicy. This spicy pani is balanced with the addition of sweet tamarind chutney. For the stuffing, you can use your choice of fillings.

fundamentally it is a mix of road food formula made with little puri balls loaded up with spiced and squashed aloo and uniquely made spiced water.

  1. Take a blender jar and add 1 ½ cup pudina, 1 cup coriander, 1 ½ tbsp. Ginger.


  2. Add 2 tbsp green chillies, 2 spicy green chilli.


  3. Add 1 tbsp. Black salt, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp chat masala, and 1 ½ tbsp pani puri masala.


  4. Add some water, 2 tbsp lemon juice. Blend it.


  5. Extract 3 tbsp. Mixture in different bowl.


  6. Then take bowl and add 2 bowl water, add leftover mixture in the water. Give it one mix.


  7. Take a bowl and add 1 ½ bowl smashed potato.Add 1 cup boiled chana.


  8. Add green mixture in the potatoes.


  9. Mix it well.


  10. Ready to eat Pani Puri with potato mixture with chatpata pani.


Recipe Notes

  • To make the pani hot and spicy, you can add one greener chili.
  • You can also make individual portions with the puri’s, potato-onion mixture and the pani.
  • Addition of black salt gives a really good taste and flavor. So if possible do try to add black salt in the pani recipe.
